Leather Paint

Just like the Phoenix our once beautiful lounge (now 16 years old and trashed by tennants) has been born again and is now brand new again. Thank you so much for your products, the website instructions and your exceptional service. The colour matched perfectly. Our lounge improved with very stage of the renewal process and ultimately with the final coat and sealer came up like Polar White showroom brand new. Thank you so much!!!!

I ruined a new pair of shoes at their first outing, spilling hot oil on one while cooking. After trying lots of different solutions, I made the problem worse. Enter Leather Hero. I could not believe the ease of use and the coverage of the paint. Of course the colour couldn't exactly match, so I painted the whole of the pair of shoes. I was simply amazed. I did not believe that it was possible to do what the Leather Paint did. So much so, I now intend to paint a leather handbag I haven't wanted to part with because it was expensive and I don't particularly like its current colour. Now that I know about Leather Hero, this won't be my only dabble in renewing my leather possessions from time to time. Quite simply a gob-smacking result. Thank you so much!!

I had an expensive but faded leather handbag, and the maroon colour leather paint has restored life to it. It looks fantastic, and I can continue using it for much longer! Very easy to apply and quick to dry.

I purchased the range of products for recolouring my beautiful Celine bag that had suffered life in the tropics and discoloured in places. I chose Mocha but decided to add more white and I ended up with the most beautiful dusky pink mocha. The instructions on the website are easy to follow and the paint worked wonderfully. As an artist I love mixing my own shades and it was super easy with these paints, but application is easy for anyone! Customer support and service is excellent. I highly recommend Leather Hero.

Wanted to dye a brand new pair of black Nappa leather dancing shoes to white/cream and after several applications IVORY proved to be a lovely creamy off white colour. Leather Hero provided heaps of info on the website which I carefully perused before ordering. I also tested the colour and a few other sample colour pots on an old pair of shoes. Started with a coat of primer. I tried a number of application methods, from paintbrush to cotton swabs, cotton pads and cotton fabric. I suspect that spraying the shoes with a very small airbrush would be the best way to achieve an even finish, but didn’t have one. (Maybe Leather Hero could find a suitable one to add to their merch). It took around 10 days Drying time between coats) and 10 layers using these methods to achieve acceptable (though not perfectly even) coverage. Fortunately I had purchased a 100 mil bottle. Then came the test - dancing in the white shoes. Surprisingly, they performed ok, except where the feet rubbed together. The black scuff marks are actually the original leather colour showing through. Anyroad, that can be repaired and I will allow them more time to cure before subjecting them to such hard wear and tear in future. Having learnt from my first experience with the product, I am confident that my next try will be perfect! Thankyou LH! I did plan to add photos to this review, but couldn't upload them.

A pair of mid century style white armchairs. I didn’t want to over restore them but with the white paint, used sparingly, leaving some patina of wear makes them look not as new but appropriate for age . It revived them beautifully.

I tried a few colours from the stock list. I ended up sending a headrest to Sydney to have the colour matched which was done perfectly. It was a big job, but the results are spectacular. The leather looks and feels like new.

we have had these chairs for nearly twenty years and they were starting to show their age although the leather was in great condition the colour was thin in a number of places and had stain. The colour butter was slightly too dark but by trial and error using white I managed to get the exact colour. The chairs have come up wonderfully and should last our lifetime.

I used this product to re-colour an old yellow leather jacket that had almost no paint left on it. It looks brand-new and have had a tonne of people comment on how lovely it is.

I used the leather paint in white to transform a black pair of Mary Jane shoes. It took several coats but they covered well and the finish is smooth and even. They don’t look obviously painted.

What a great product. works so well covered the cracks in my lounge to nearly not seeing them at all. Will be ordering again as i have a few pairs of black leather boots to do. Thanks
