My situation was that I received a used pair of shoes, in excellent condition, however they had a very strong mildew odour. Have tried 'everything' to get rid of the smell; unfortunately, even after using Leather Hero the smell, although reduced, remains. I'm sure this product would work on less intrenched mould odours. Very prompt and helpful advice from the support team!
Thank you for sharing your experience with Mould Remover. Odour removal can be tricky, especially on a multi-component item such as shoes. We are glad the product helped minimise the odour.

The kit was easy to use on a small scratch/ patch. However, the colour Alpaca, is not the colour on the lid or website photo, much more yellow. Anyway have ordered a beige, so can tone it out a bit, then topcoat.

Leather Hero is an amazing product. It transformed my 40 year old leather recliner. It looks almost new. The process was easy to follow with great directions. BTW I'm an 82 year old grandma and if I can do it anyone can!

After using the kit the steering wheel turned out rougher than before the repair. Seemed smooth at first but when it dried it wasn't. Also got the colourant everywhere as I didn't realise how runny it was when putting on the applicator sponge. The bottle should really have a dropper nozzle on the end like the others. Maybe I did something wrong but I tried to follow the instructions as closely as possible. My wife told me to just buy a cover instead of buying this kit, I should have listened to her.

Any rough surface texture (from the leather, filler or grit) can be sanded then refinished with a couple of coats of colour and topcoat. When we receive your photos, we will know more and will do our best to guide you towards a pleasing result.

I changed a white leather lounge to brown. Took about 5 coats to make it look streak less but it worked! Just be aware it may take a whole weekend 😅

No doubt the quality will be excellent, just a bit disappointed about the timing.
We paid for express shipping on a Saturday, but the kit wasn't dispatched until Tuesday, so it arrived on Thursday, a few hours after the person who needed it flew overseas.

Our warehouse is closed on the weekend so orders from Friday afternoon, Saturday, Sunday and Monday are usually processed on Monday, Tuesday and sometimes, Wednesday. I had some burgundy staining on a white leather bag and followed the instructions but it didn't remove it at all
Hi Amy, we are sorry to learn that Transferred Dye Remover didn't remove the dye stain. When dye penetrates and 'sets-in', it can no longer be removed. Recolouring over the stain is the best option in such cases. Transferred Dye Remover is best kept on hand, especially for white and other light coloured leathers as fast treatment improves the chance of removing the dye before it sets in.
