Great results start with good surface prep. Use this sandpaper to smooth filled repairs and thoroughly prepare leather surfaces before refinishing.
- Silicon carbide
- 800 grit
- 8 pieces approx 115mm x 74mm
- Key the old coatings prior to coating
- Helps to maximise coatings adhesion

Use as needed.
Cut a patch that is 1.5 to 2 times the size of the opening in the leather. Insert it under the opening. The patch can be anchored in two ways:
1) Glued: Apply glue to the edges of the underside of the hole. Wait until the glue is almost dry then add an additional layer. Wait a few minutes for the glue to become tacky. Join and firmly hold the parts in place until bonded. Depending on the amount of glue used, humidity and porousity of your leather, this may be minutes or a couple of days. Wipe away excess immediately.
2) Stitched: Insert the sub-patch then stitch through the edges of the leather opening and through the mesh.
Glue can be applied after stitching.
Always clean leather and vinyl before gluing. Wash up in water. Keep airtight.
