Q1: What type of leather do you have?

There are many types of leather and lots of different finishes but most fit into these 5 types. Compare your leather to these images to find your type. Whether you are looking for leather care products or preparing to do a small repair or major restoration, it's important to select suitable products for your leather type. Tip: Although there are exceptions, you'll find that most cars, Chesterfields and coloured lounges are pigmented leather. Most boats use PU leather except for some pleasure craft. The most common colours for anilines and semi-anilines are shades of tan.
